Reel brake arrangement on a cable machine consisting of a series of tension rollers, and spring arm mounting, which is connected to one end of a brakeband arrangement to ensure even delivery of the wire, and at the other end of the brakeband is a spring loaded leverage system, with a hand-lever, to bring the reel to a halt. USE - To deliver the wire to a cable machine evenly, to ensure a suitable quality of cable, and to reduce fluctuation at the reel which causes undue wear.
