<p>PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction from occurring in a semiconductor integrated circuit due to noises or the like by a method wherein a significant level of the control signal transmitted from a wiring is set to a high potential side and the signal from the wiring is transmitted to a circuit block through the intermediary of an inverting circuit provided close to the circuit block. CONSTITUTION:A write-enable signal WE outputted from a write control circuit 11 is set in such a state that its significant level is 'H' and insignificant level is 'L', and the signal WE is transmitted nearby each circuit block 13 through a wiring 12. And, the signal WE is supplied to each circuit block 13 through the intermediary of an inverting circuit 14 provided close to each of the circuit blocks 10. As the operation of the circuit block 13 is controlled basing on the signal WE, the circuit block 13 is set to a write mode when the signal WE outputted from the control circuit 11 is 'H' and to a write-inhibit mode when the signal WE is 'L'. By this setup, the potential of the wiring 12 hardly becomes 'H' in error as being affected by a substrate whose potential is fixed to a ground potential, so that malfunction caused by an electrostatic surge or the like can be prevented from occurring in a semiconductor integrated circuit of this design.</p> |
