PURPOSE:To obtain a recording body having excellent recording travelling properties and high gloss and being superior even in recording density by forming an intermediate layer mainly comprising a water-soluble resin or a water-dispersing resin onto a heat-sensitive recording layer and shaping an overcoating layer composed of aqueous silicone oil and the water-soluble resin or the water-dispersing resin onto the intermediate layer. CONSTITUTION:Any combination by which a color reaction is generated by heat energy generated from a heat-sensitive head can be used regarding a material contained in a heat-sensitive recording layer. The combination of colorless or light-colored basic dyes and an inorganic or organic acidic substance, the combination of higher fatty-acid metallic salt such as ferric stearic acid and phenols such as gallic acid, the so-called optical fixing type heat-sensitive recording body, etc., including a diazonium compound, a coupler compound and a compound displaying a basic atmosphere on heat fusion are exampled. Specific intermediate layer and overcoating layer are particularly favorable because they have extremely excellent recording characteristics when they are adapted especially to the combination of the basic dyes and the acidic substance. |
