<p>PURPOSE: To collect an air sample containing a gas emitted from a specific dense substance quickly by providing a booth, side walls and a roof. CONSTITUTION: The inventive air sample collector/inspector comprises a roof 34, a pair of vertical side walls 28, 30 facing each other, and a booth 24 coupled therewith having a vertical rear wall including at least one air channel of such size as a person can enter the booth and leave therefrom. A person standing closely to the rear wall of booth 24 is warmed with a heater and subjected to air jet pulse through a plurality of nozzles arranged vertically at regular intervals up to a predetermined height corresponding to the height of person obliquely from the opposite front sides. The air scattered from the cloth and skin is then sucked by means of a blower through a plurality of suction ports arranged vertically in one row on the front and collected as an air sample. According to the arrangement, an air sample containing a gas emitted from a specific dense substance can be collected quickly.</p> |
