A fast-flying fuel-air explosive warhead (FAE warhead) as an individual projectile or within a missile has one or more aerosol containers (1) in which an ejection tube (3) is provided by means of which the fuze (4) for triggering the aerosol cloud can be ejected to the rear at a speed which compensates for the air speed of the container (1) and is thus decelerated suddenly like the aerosol cloud, in order to trigger the aerosol cloud after a predetermined build-up time of, for example, 200 ms. <IMAGE>
