The plug socket which can be fitted to an apparatus wall and consists of hard-elastic material is connected via an integrally formed hinge to a plug-socket cap whose interior is designed to be suitable for accommodating the rear attachment of the components and/or of the mechanical cable fastening of the plug baseplate. In addition, the cap has latching elements which, in their closed position, engage in mating latching elements on the plug socket. Such a multiple plug connection is preferably suitable for a supply and metering apparatus which can be attached to a washing machine or dishwasher in order to prevent vibration of the washing machine or dishwasher detaching the multiple plug connection. <IMAGE>
