PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide resin composition including a polyamide resin composed of a structural unit derived from a 9-18C aliphatic dicarboxylic acid component and a structural unit derived from a diamine component, the polyamide resin composition having high mechanical strength, and also to provide a molded article thereof.SOLUTION: A polyamide resin composition includes a polyamide resin, glass fibers, and at least one type of a surface treatment agent and a sizing agent for the glass fiber. In a gas composition obtained by heating the at least one type of the surface treatment agent and the sizing agent for one hour at 280°C, a ratio of isophorone diisocyanate exceeds 20 mass%. The polyamide resin includes a structural unit derived from a dicarboxylic acid component and a structural unit derived from a diamine component, and 50 mol% or more of the structural unit derived from the dicarboxylic acid component is derived from a 9-18C aliphatic dicarboxylic acid. The polyamide resin has a terminal carboxy group concentration of 70-120μ equivalents/g.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
