In a circular saw blade with attachable segments arranged at the periphery of a saw plate for interchangeable cutting or grinding elements of diamond or suchlike material suitable in particular for working stone, the saw plate is a laminated body of a fibre composite plastic, the individual circular-disc-shaped layer (1.2, 1.3) being composed of circular disc segments (1.2.1 and 1.3.1 resp.) abutting against one another, and the circular disc segments (1.2.1, 1.3.1) or their connecting joints (1.2.2 and 1.3.2 resp.) being mutually offset at an angle from layer (1.2) to layer (1.3). <IMAGE>
