<p>PURPOSE: To enable to prevent bedsores from generating in people who have to continue a recumbent position for years, by providing a rest surface composed of respectively independent and vertically movable adjacent rows of lateral elements preferably. CONSTITUTION: Elements 5 are moved independently by a hydraulic cylinder/ piston unit 6 provided with a fixed part or a cylinder 7 fixed at cloth members 8, 8A respectively of a frame 2 and a rod 9 moving within the cylinder 7 by a fluid pressure. A user commands a microprocessor by a usual interface to open a valve 22 corresponding to a pair of cylinder/piston units 6 supporting the elements 5 to be lowerered. By lowering a load supporting bar 10, the needed elements 5 are lowered. Also, a base 11 and a stuffing 13 are pulled out of a part 12 of the load supporting bar 10 to remove and exchange bed covers from the stuffing 13.</p> |
