<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently utilize the thrust of a linear motor by covering the top of a linear motor stator in a conveying passage with a nonmagnetic plate to be telescopically inserted, and inserting the plate into a connecting groove formed on the side face of the passage to be connected. CONSTITUTION:A conveying passage 10 is opened at the center of its top, and a linear motor stator 2 is contained in a space 15 of a conveying conduit at a home position in the longitudinal direction of the conduit 10. The top of the stator 2 is covered with a covering plate 16. The plate 16 is made of a nonmagnetic thin plate made of stainless steel, synthetic resin, etc., and inserted to be connected between connecting grooves 17 and 17 formed longitudinally on the opposed inner side faces of the conduit 10. The grooves 17 are so formed in a dovetail shape, dovetail groove shape, etc. as to be slidable in the longitudinal direction of the groove and not to be moved in the vertical directions. Further, the plate 16 is reduced in thickness as much as possible.</p> |
