Cocking device for compressed-air weapons

The invention relates to a cocking device for the cylinder chamber of a compressed-air weapon having a cocking lever which interacts, via a step-down linkage, with the piston of the cylinder chamber. It consists of at least one gearwheel which can be non-rotatably connected to the cocking lever, has a shaft, engages with a rack (toothed rod) (which extends in the barrel direction and can be connected to the weapon in a fixed position) and whose shaft can be moved in a reciprocating manner in two elongated slots or grooves which are matched to the diameter of the shaft. One groove or slot is in a fixed position with respect to the weapon and extends in the direction of the rack, while the other groove or slot is constructed in a rod of the step-down linkage whose one end can be pivoted about a fixed-position axis while its other end can be connected in an articulated manner to that rod of the step-down linkage which is constructed as the piston rod.
