<p>In a method for the manufacture of prismatic or truncated-pyramid-shaped beams, it is suggested to produce respectively two adjoining, mutually perpendicularly disposed lateral faces in one working step by simultaneous edging. In an apparatus for performing the method of this invention, a machining tool with two sawing or cutting tools is provided, these last-mentioned tools forming a right angle with each other and being arranged offset with respect to each other in the direction of the longitudinal extension of the bole to be edged.</p> |
