Infrared movement detector

The infrared movement detector has at least one infrared sensor and an evaluation circuit in a housing part (13). The housing part (13) can be connected via plug contacts (11a, 12a; 11b, 12b; 11c, 12c) to a cap part (10) to which supply lines and an alarm line are connected. So that the alarm signals can also be transmitted to remote locations without additional alarm line, an intermediate housing (23) is provided which can be plugged between the cap part (10) and the housing part (13) and contains a signal transmitter which transmits the alarm signals as modulation signals to the supply lines. At any point of the supply network, a signal receiver can be connected which receives the modulation signals and activates a load or a signal device. The movement detector can be installed with or without intermediate housing (23). <IMAGE>
