摘要	In drills and percussion tools the chuck has so far been assembled separately and fitted on the drill spindle or percussion tube. The connecting components are expensive, laborious to fit and sometimes give rise to out-of-round rotation in the drilling tools used. In the hand tool of the invention the chuck base (2) is formed in one piece with the percussion tube or drill spindle. All the other components like the support ring (16), chuck jaws (12), toothed crown (24) and jaw guide sleeve (32) may easily be slid on the chuck base (2) from the front. The chuck jaws are guided in oblique slots (7) in the chuck base (2) and are supported outwards against the jaw guide sleeve (32).
