For adjusting the responsiveness of an actuating element controlling the drive power output of a vehicle drive (10), the actuating element is coupled by way of a linkage device to the vehicle drive (10). The linkage device has an adjusting plate (30), rotatable about a swivel axis (29') by movement of the actuating element, on which plate at a distance from the swivel axis (29') a control lever (33), which can be made to reciprocate essentially longitudinally by the swivel movement of the adjusting plate (30), is swivellably fixed for acting on the control input of the vehicle drive (10).
