The invention relates to a method for controlling the pixels (PX1�to�PX32) of a plasma panel (1) by selective addressing and by semi-selective addressing, and applies in the cases where a pixel (PX1�to�PX32) is defined at the meeting point of a column electrode (X1�to�X4) with a pair (P1�to�P8) of service electrodes. �The method of the invention permits namely a reduced image cycle time to be obtained. For this purpose, according to a characteristic of the invention, the method consists in simultaneously controlling certain pixels by semi-selective addressing and other pixels by selective addressing. ��
