PURPOSE:To miniaturize a device and to perform the diagnostic operation at a high speed by transmitting transmission data in serial between a diagnosing device and an information processor and reducing the number of interface signal lines to control diagnosis with easy procedures. CONSTITUTION:A diagnosis control part 11 of a diagnostic device 1 supplies scan in data to a transmission write register WSFS 12 through a line 111 and sends data from the WSFS 12 in serial by a clock supply signal CAV on a line 105. In an information processor 2, a scan path 210 in an information processing part 21 receives a data signal synchronously with the signal CAV. Serial data from the path 210 is sent synchronously with the signal CAV and is sent to a line 106 through a selecting circuit 24. A reception read register RSFS 13 samples the signal on the line 106; and when it is filled up with reception data, data is sent from the RSFR 13 to the control part 11 through a line 113 as parallel data. |
