PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the characteristic of liquid by making a nozzle face of a head and an electrode for detecting discharge conductive by liquid droplets when the droplets are lengthened to improve discharge detection accuracy.SOLUTION: A plurality of liquid droplets 700 (700a, 700b) are continuously discharged. The plurality of liquid droplets 700 discharged are linked from a nozzle face 40 on which a nozzle is formed up to the liquid droplet 700 closest to a landing surface of an electrode 101. A distance b from a tip of the liquid droplet 700 on the side close to the landing surface of the plurality of liquid droplets 700 linked to the nozzle face 40 is made shorter than an interval c between the nozzle face 40 and the landing surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16 |
