Internal transport system for factories

A transport system, for transporting goods from one part of a factory to another, consists of a train of small four-wheeled trucks (1,1',1''). The trucks are coupled one to another by means of pairs of links (3a,3b). One member of a pair is pivoted to the end of a truck (1,1') at a point near its side wall. The other ends of the members of the same pair (3a) or (3b) are pivoted together by a bolt (4a) or (4b). A tension spring (5) connects the two pairs of links (3a,3b) at their pivot points. This system of coupling enables the train to travel around sharp bends but enables the trucks to be stationed close to each other when stationary.
