PURPOSE:To ensure that electricity is not easily charged due to friction and transport is carried out smoothly in a recording device by adding a specific compound to a protection layer and/or a back layer of a thermally sensitive recording material. CONSTITUTION:The subject material consists of a protection layer provided on a thermally sensitive layer formed by applying and drying an application liquid containing a microcapsule which contains a colorless or pale electron- donative dye precursor and an emulsification dispersion product obtained by emulsifying and dispersing a coloring agent dissolved in an organic solvent not easily soluble or insoluble in water, on a support, and a back layer provided on the rear of the support, if necessary. In addition, the protection layer and/or the back layer contain compounds shown by formula (I) and formula (II). In the formulae, R10 is an alkyl group with C5 to C20, R20 is an allyl group with C6 to C30, M is an alkali metal or an ammonium group, and m and n are integers of 1 to 20. |
