<p>PURPOSE:To prevent lowering of thrust when a carrying truck is traveling by providing means for maintaining the gap between a linear induction motor and a secondary conductor constant. CONSTITUTION:A carrying truck 11 is driven by means of linear induction motors 12a, 12b arranged on the opposite side faces of a frame 19a suspending a carrier 19b and travels along a carrying path 15. The surfaces of the carrying path 15 facing the induction motors 12a, 12b are made of conductors. The frame 19a is provided with a supporting wheel 14 and a guide wheel 16. The supporting wheel 14 is supported on the under face of the carrying path 15 and supports the load of the carrying truck 11. The guide wheel 16 are in contact with lower end faces 23a, 23b of the carrying path 15 and maintains the gap between the linear induction motor 12 and a secondary conductor 13 constant. By such arrangement, the gap between the linear induction motor 12 and the secondary conductor 13 is enlarged and lowering of thrust is prevented.</p> |
