PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleep detection device capable of eliminating influence of wink or disturbance light and improving detection accuracy and responsiveness.SOLUTION: A sleep detection device comprises: means (12) for detecting opening degrees of eyelids, based on a both eyes image of a subject; means (13) for recording the opening degrees of both eyelids, at a predetermined frame rate as time series data; and sleep determination means (14, 15, 17) for, extracting a boundary frame (k) in which, a separation degree (η) between the time series data (μ1) in a preceding group and time series data (μ2) in a subsequent group becomes maximum, as a start time of closing eyes, the boundary frame (k) for dividing a predetermined continuous number of detection target frames (N) containing a latest frame of the time series data into the preceding group (C1) and the subsequent group (C2).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
