The invention concerns hybrid plasmids for the production of protease in bacillus, consisting of a bacillus-common basic plasmid and a DNA sequence which codes for a protease of the subtilisin Carlsberg type. The aim of the invention is to increase the expressability. This is achieved by virtue of the fact that the DNA section between the AvaI and SstI interfaces closest to the protease structural gene, which codes for subtilisin Carlsberg, is used as the protease sequence.
