A ball accessary is manufactured by moulding a glass bar from melting glass, heating the end part of the bar at 1400-1500 deg.C, pressmoulding the end part with an upper and a lower metal mould having a blower, solidifying the part at 400-450 deg.C for 10-12 hours in solidifying furnace and grinding it. The produced ball has a high transparency and a homogeneous shape. The method has a low cost and a high productivity.
