摘要 Redn. in the emission of organic prods. of incomplete combustion in combustion plant off-gases is effected by treating the off-gas at 150-500 deg.C under oxidising conditions with an opt. modified de-NOx catalyst. Pref. the catalyst is of titanium oxide type, iron oxide type or zeolite type, opt. with conventional donors. Also claimed is use of the opt. modified de-NOx catalyst for the destruction of the organic prods. of incomplete combustion in combustion plant off-gases. USE/ADVANTAGE - Useful for treating incinerator waste gases contg. organohalogen cpds., including polyhalogenated dibenzodioxins and dibenzofurans. A single de-NOx catalyst is used for elimination of both NOx and the organic cpds. in a single operation, the organic cpds. being eliminated as completely as possible.
