PURPOSE:To reduce memory capacity by coding X and Y coordinate point data, control data and area instruction data so as to be stored in a byte unit. CONSTITUTION:The coordinate data are stored in a character storage device 3 and read out to a buffer memory 4 for one character by an input means 1. Then, the coordinates of a byte data part are investigated by a decision control circuit 5 and in the case of an (x) or (y) axis coordinate point, a first area is added to the (x) or (y) axis coordinate point. The character is divided into plural areas and when the coordinate point data are stored for the unit of the byte, the area instruction data are stored in an area instruction part in the byte unit. |
