Microtextured elastomeric laminates (1) comprising at least one elastomeric layer (3) and at least one thin skin layer (2, 4) is preferably prepared by coextrusion of the layers followed by stretching the laminate past the elastic limit of the skin layers and then allowing the laminate to recover.
