The invention relates to a spreading-material container (10) for transporting and evenly distributing spreading material, in particular fertilizer, seed, road salt or the like, wherein the spreading-material container (10) is configured in the form of a trough and has the following: - an outlet opening (16) for the spreading material, said outlet opening (16) being formed in a lower region of the spreading-material container (10) and immediately above a horizontal base plate (18) of the spreading-material container (10), - a rotor (20) for delivering the spreading material to the outlet opening (16), said rotor being arranged within the spreading-material container (10) and immediately above the base plate (18) and being rotatable about a substantially vertical axis, - a receiving device (12) for releasably receiving an appliance (26) which has at least one motor, wherein the receiving device (12) is formed in an upper region of the spreading-material container (10) and at least some portions of the shape of the receiving device (12) are configured in a complementary manner to the shape of the appliance (26), and wherein the motor of the appliance (26) is coupled or can be coupled indirectly or directly to the rotor (20) of the spreading-material container (10). |
