The cross-country ski binding (30) has a transverse link axle (1) at its front end. The shoe axle can be turned between a fixed jaw (10) and a movable sliding jaw (20) which is elastically pre-tensioned longitudinally towards the fixed jaw (10). The movable jaw (20) is hook-shaped longitudinally and stresses the boot axle at least longitudinally and vertically. The hook has a horizontal section (21) which is ramp-shaped (21a) rising towards the fixed jaw (10) at an angle of between 5 and 15 deg. |
