PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device that suppresses deterioration in image quality due to gradation conversion.SOLUTION: An image processing unit 104 of an image processing device includes: calculation means 204 that calculates the similarity between an input image and a processed image which is obtained by subjecting the input image to predetermined processing, on the basis of the respective frequency characteristics and contrast characteristics of the input image and processed image; determination means 203 that determines a parameter for gradation conversion of the input image on the basis of the calculated similarity; and conversion means 202 that performs gradation conversion of the input image on the basis of the determined parameter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
