<p>PURPOSE:To illuminate and display the prescribed design provided on a rotating member as a static image with simple constitution by providing a stationary light source on a stationary side. CONSTITUTION:A rotating body 1 of a disk-shaped wheel accessory made of a transparent synthetic resin is provided with a scattering and reflecting surface 2 consisting of grooved recess or fine ruggedness, etc., on the rear surface of the point slight off the center O of rotation of the rotating body in correspondence to the pattern of the graphics to be illuminated and displayed on the front side. The circumferential end face is coated with a light shielding film 3 exclusive of the light receiving part. The circumferential end face is provided with one pieces of the light receiving part 4 as the slit-like notched part of the light shielding film 3. The incident light on the inside of the rotating body from one piece of light projecting means 6 provided on the stationary member arrives at the illuminating part 5, the rear surface of which is the scattering and reflecting surface 2 by repeating reflections at the boundary face of the rotating body. The prescribed pattern is flickered and illuminated in the fixed position slightly off the center of rotation of the rotating body under rotation when viewed from the front side. The pattern is visible in the non-flickering state when the rotating speed of the disk exceeds 300rpm.</p> |
