<p>PURPOSE:To effectively utilize fowl droppings and to obtain a granular compd. fertilizer easy to handle and having a significant fertilizing effect by well wetting ash produced by burning the fowl droppings, blending a by-product phosphatic fertilizer, a by-product compd. fertilizer and a granulation accelerator with the wetted ash, kneading and granulating them. CONSTITUTION:Fowl droppings discharged as waste from a poultry farm are burned to produce ash and this ash is well wetted by sprinkling water. A by- product phosphatic fertilizer, a by-product compd. fertilizer and a granulation accelerator such as bentonite are blended with the wetted ash and they are kneaded, crushed, blended with water and granulated. The resulting granules are dried with hot air, cooled and sieved to obtain a granular compd. fertilizer of desired grain size. Large granules separated by sieving are returned to the crushing stage and reutilized.</p> |
