<p>PURPOSE:To improve impact resistance and permeation resistance of a laminated glass by using a thermosetting resin compounding an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer with a hydrocarbon resin and an org. peroxide as the intermediate layer of the laminated glass. CONSTITUTION:A thermosetting resin compounding an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer with a hydrocarbon resin and an org. peroxide is inserted between glass plates to constitute a monolithic glass and then the resin layer is thermally hardened. The added amts. of the hydrocarbon resin and org. peroxide are 1-100 pts.wt. and 0.1-5 pts.wt. to the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, respectively. To improve the initial modulus of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin and to raise the permeation resistance, a hardening assistant selected from an acryloxy group-contg. compd., methacryloxy group-contg. compd. and aryl group-contg. compd. is added by about <50wt.% of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer.</p> |
