PURPOSE:To prevent a belt from a slipping, by controlling the hydraulic pressure ratio in such a way that a gear is separated from a normal mode upon wheel lock so as to gradually shift down the gear, and the primary pressure is raised to a high level together with the secondary pressure. CONSTITUTION:During normal operation, a control unit 70 controls the primary pressure in accordance with a pulley position variation speed which is calculated by a calculating section 93 in accordance with a deviation in speed ratio or the like. When a wheel lock occurs during abrupt deceleration on a low friction road, a gear is separated from a normal mode by means of a change-over section 102, and a down shift speed change pressure for wheel lock is delivered from a setting section 101. Further, a calculating section 95 controls the primary pressure in such a way that the primary pressure is raised to a high level together with the secondary pressure upon wheel lock calculated by a calculating section 81, being controlled by a hydraulic pressure ratio set by a setting section 87, and accordingly, a solenoid current setting section 96 controls a proportional solenoid 62. Thus, it is possible to prevent a slit of a belt or the like. |
