Thermal torch producing countersunk screw holes in metal sheet - has torch holder connected to upper of two counter rotating discs with intermediary roller bearing

Prodn. of countersunk screw holes esp. in wear-resistant metal sheet, has the novelty that an oxyacetylene cutter (6) with thermal torch (7) is swivable in the torch holder (8) which is connected to an upper rotary disc (10). A lower disk is seated on a support ring (19). These two disc are counter-rotating and make up the mounting (5) for the cutter and torch. The discs have on their facing surfaces (13,14) a channel (15) for ball bearings (16,17). Displacement of the discs is eliminated by a guide. A protective sheet (21) for the channel (15) is seated on the support ring (19). ADVANTAGE- Prodn. of the holes is simple, rapid and ergonomic.
