<p>An aqueous dispersion of silicone and of an organic polymer latex, crosslinking to an elastomer on removal of water, comprising: - 100 parts of an emulsion (A) of the oil-in-water type of an alpha , omega -(dihydroxy)polydiorganosiloxane, stabilised with an anionic and/or nonionic surfactant, - 2 to 80 parts of an aqueous dispersion (latex) of an organic (co)polymer, - 0.1 to 100 parts of a crosslinking agent, - 5 to 200 parts of a nonsiliceous inorganic filler, - optionally 0.01 to 3 parts of a metal compound which catalyses curing. Use of the dispersions for the production of silicone elastomer seals, in particular for the construction industry.</p> |
