The legs of a disabled person are attached to mechanically driven pedals (7), are driven from a crankshaft mounted in a supporting frame. The feet are secured to the pedals by a spring-loaded clamp which is actuated through a cable from a lever (14) which can be manually operated by the disabled person. The clamps compression member (28) abuts the foot rear. The compression member is pref. supported on a leverage, snapping into the clamping position.
