The present invention relates to a syringe including a barrel. The syringe includes at least one polymeric portion, in turn, including a releasable needle support portion which can be released from the barrel. Photoluminescence is provided within the polymeric portion so that the releasable needle support portion is advantageously visible at night when detached from a barrel of the syringe. |
