PURPOSE:To inform a sender of electronic mail of the expiration of a responding term to his electronic mail by providing a responding term reading-out section which reads out the responding term to electronic mails and a controlling section which informs electronic mail senders of the expiration of responding terms to their electronic mails when the responding terms have expired. CONSTITUTION:This electronic mail repeating device is provided with a receiving section 3 which receives electronic mails 20, controlling section 4 which processes the electronic mails 20 received by the section 3, transmitting section 5 which transmits the electronic mails 20 processed by the section 4 to another communication line, time counting section 6 which provides time on the basis of the section 4, responding term reading-out section 7, and arriving time discriminating section 8. The electronic mail 20 used for this electronic mail repeating device has a responding term inscribing section 20a and the responding term inscribed in the section 20a is compared with the arriving time of the electronic mail 20 discriminated by the section 8. When the electronic mail 20 arrives after the responding term has expired, the section 2 informs the sender of the mail 20 of the expiration of the responding term. |
