This classifier can be used in dressing operations for the separation of heavy particles from bulk materials. It is characterized by a simplified design and low water consumption and is capable of ensuring an efficient separation of various fractions owing to the combined action of the vibrating and centrifugal forces. The classifier consists of a dressing cone (9) with upward-oriented top and has a spiral-shaped channel on its working surface. The spiral points in a direction opposite to that of the rotation of the dressing cone (9). The cone is topped by the power supply unit (10) with a vibrating device (11) placed on top of the latter, whereby the lower part of the power supply unit (10) remains in contact with the top of the dressing cone (9).
