The hydraulically-driven drill hammer has passages (2, 4) connecting the fluid supply passage (1) to the chambers (3) before and behind the striker piston (5). A part (7) of the control valve (8), which works between stops, slides coaxially in the piston, and a second part (9) slides between the chamber (6) behind the piston and a third chamber (10), the two being connected via a third passage (17). The third chamber is connected either via a fourth passage (11), passing through the valve, piston and tool chuck (12) to the flushing drilling (13) in the tool (14), or via a fifth passage (15) to the tank (16). A regulator (18) is mounted in this passage. ADVANTAGE - Uses flushing liquid also to generate hammer blows and rotate the tool.
