Sewer leak locating system - has pressure chamber formed between double walls on travelling remote controlled machine

The system locates leaks in sewers using a travelling and remote-controlled machine (1). the latter contains pressure-generating equipment. It has two double walls (2) forming with the section of the sewer between them a pressure chamber. Instruments measure the pressure patterns in this chamber and those inside the double walls, and these are compared in a computer which indicates the rate of leakage. ADVANTAGE - No need for emptying and intensive cleaning of sewer beforehand.
