PURPOSE:To prevent the smoke accident of a flyback transformer by detecting a temperature inside the flyback transformer by a temperature sensor, and operating an X-ray protection circuit corresponding to a temperature detecting signal at an abnormal temperature increase. CONSTITUTION:An temperature sensor 18 is provided inside a flyback transformer 9. The temperature inside the flyback transformer 9 is detected by the temperature sensor 18, the temperature detecting signal is amplified by an amplifier circuit 19, and applied to an X-ray protection circuit 10. When an abnormality is generated in the flyback transformer 9, and the temperature inside it is increased, the output of the amplifier circuit 19 is increased, and if the temperature attains an abnormally high prescribed value, a Zener diode 11 is continued and a horizontal oscillation circuit 1 is stopped. Thus, an electric power supply to the flyback transformer 9 is cut off, and the smoking and the burning of the flyback transformer 9 are prevented. |
