Castor, capable of absorbing impacts effectively, and the spherical wheel (7) of which may either be received in an enclosure (3) in the form of a cup or project beyond the latter for positioning or movement. The castor includes a sleeve tube (1) which is fixed to a ring (2) on the frame (8) of a baby walker in order to receive a spring (5), and a central shaft (4) which includes a spherical wheel (7) at its base. The sleeve tube (1) includes a Z-shaped track on its wall surface for the sliding and positioning, inside the latter, of a lateral guide (42) which is inserted through it and which is fixed to the central shaft (4). An enclosure (3) in the form of a cup is fixed to the lower end of the sleeve tube (1) in order to protect the spherical wheel (7). <IMAGE>
