PURPOSE:To accurately decide the presence of the interference of a sucking nozzle with a mounted component by providing a comparing and judging element which compares the thickness of a component to be mounted with the mounted component and a judging element which judges whether the sucking nozzle overlaps with the mounted component in the vertical direction when the component is mounted. CONSTITUTION:An acknowledging station II stores the step number of a component 4 into a step memory, compares the thickness of the mounted component 4 at a step 1 with the thickness of the component 4 at a step 2, and if the component at the step 1 is thinner, the component 4 is mounted on a printed board 5. When the thickness t2 of the component at the step 2 is larger than the t3 at the step 3 and that the thickness of the component at the step 1 is smaller than the t3, whether the component 4 at the step 2 touches a sucking nozzle 12 at a step 3 or not is checked. Namely, the present range of the nozzle 12 is obtained from data, the present range of the mounted component 4 at the step 2 is obtained by NC data and the data of the outside dimensions of the component 4, and if there is a part which overlaps with the present range of the nozzle 12, the part is judged to touch the nozzle 12. |
