PURPOSE:To ensure a high performance quality by forming all or a part of a block form a honeycomb structure 2 having several through-holes. CONSTITUTION:A structure block 1 is formed of a substantially rectangular parallelepiped honeycomb structure 2 in which several parallel through-holes are formed in the thin wall thickness direction thereof, these through-holes exhibiting a grille-like pattern which enhance the aesthetic view of the block formed of the honeycomb structure 2. This block 1 is formed by extrusion- molding a powder having a small particle size, such as calcareous material or the like, added with Portland cement, through a honeycomb extrusion molding dies while adding water thereto, and is hardened at a room temperature so that the block 1 is durable. With this arrangement it is possible to obtain the block 1 having characteristics such as a directivity, a high strength, a light weight, a water retentiveness and the like, which are given by the honeycomb structure 2. |
