PURPOSE:To cool a document stage efficiently, and to discharge the air heated in an optical system toward the outside by providing air flow guiding means on a side wall of a housing and another wall facing to the former wall, and by generating convection flow by means of a convection flow generating means through the air flow guiding means and the document stage. CONSTITUTION:A convection flow generating means 30 has a line flow fan 31 in which an inlet fan 32 and an outlet fan 33 are arranged coaxially through a partition plate 34. This inlet fan 32 sucks air (A) from the rear side of a casing 1 into the inside, and discharges the air (A) so as to directly blow a bottom surface of a document stage 1a, and so as to generate a convection flow. On the other hand, the air A blown directly on the bottom surface is sucked from the front side through a duct 35 by means of the outlet fan 33 and is guided to the rear side through a bottom side of an exposure device 10, and is discharged to the outside of the casing 1. Thus, the air A blows directly the bottom surface of the stage 1a by means of the convection flow generating means 30 provided at the rear side in the casing 1. So, it is possible to cool the stage 1 efficiently and discharge the air (A) heated in the device 10 toward the outside smoothly. |
