PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing instrument refill which allows ink to be visually recognized while preventing the deterioration of ink.SOLUTION: A writing instrument refill 10 comprises an ink storage tube 14 that stores ink 11 and a tail valve 16 attached to a rear end 14b of the ink storage tube, the ink storage tube formed of opaque materials, and the tail valve formed of transparent or translucent materials.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
