PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting kit for a helmet, the kit facilitating a recognition of people (constructing a road, walking, and riding bicycle or motorbike) by a vehicle driver during a night time or twilight time condition.SOLUTION: A helmet with a lighting kit is provided including: a general helmet 1; a tape LED 2; a small blinking lighting controller 3; a battery case 4; and batteries (and a charger, as necessary). What are used are: the tape LED 2 being a TK-12-3528 with an ingress protection of IP 65 (red, yellow, green, blue, and white); the battery case 4 of which size being 70×65×2T to be used with four size AA batteries, the case including a switch; and the batteries being four 1.5 V NiCad batteries. The charger is 6 V 1A. The number of LEDs is 39 pieces, and brightness of one LED is 0.06 W (total, 2.5 W). With four AA batteries (1.5 V×four NiCads), approximate use of 90 hours is possible.
