<p>The invention relates to a composter which comprises a lid 30, walls and a bottom 31 which contains insulating material. The walls have been formed from one or more elements 20, 40 which comprise a profile 21 which functions as a protective layer and a heat insulating board 50 which has been arranged within this profile such that an air space 48 remains between the front side 43 of the profile on the outer side of the composter.
